The bells of Namugongo Martyrs shrine uniquely rang across the city for the first time in many years, touching on everybody irrespective of what they believe in. Reason, another Pope was coming to Uganda, the third in a row since Uganda became an independent state and his destination would be namugongo, the home to Uganda martyrs whose deaths turned the site into a historical, religious and tourist site. As we return to Namugongo, one year later, we cannot stop but contemplate whether it still has the same glamour it had this time last year
