Fall Amyworms Wipe Out Maize Gardens in Kyenjojo

Agriculture extension workers and farmers have warned that the rising scale of the fall armyworm out-break is likely to affect up to 70,000 of the 95,000 maize growing households only in Kyenjojo district.
The farmers decried government delayed intervention and neglect in form of provision of pesticides for spraying the affected areas that remain food baskets for this country.
