The NRM Primaries are still the talk of the country because of the high levels of voter bribery, intimation, and violence exhibited with many political analysts saying this was a tip of an iceberg and that we will see more of these in the 2021 elections.
Many blame the mess on the President’s last-minute directive that allowed even those who were not in the register to vote. Others say in a secret ballot, it was easy to rig, but when people lined up, the people who had their way in a secret ballot could not easily rig hence violence was their only weapon.
