Demolition Plan Failed by Mob in Kapchorwa

Several Kachorwa district leaders were assaulted during a failed demolition plan of illegal structures established along with the Boma Sports Grounds.

The situation left district councilors accusing security of failing to protect them while a mob organized by the developer of the illegal structures ganged up against them. The failed demolition was part of efforts to send encroachers off district land.
