School Goers Not to Repeat Class When Schools Open

Appearing on the Morning Breeze show this morning, the spokesperson of Ministry of Education and Sports Dennis Mugimba revealed that the plan is to take the children through rapid learning to cover the syllabi when the schools reopen and there after, they will be promoted to the next class.

” Every learner will move to the next class. We are not planning on a dead year. The P1s will move to P2, the P2s will move to P3. Children of 6 years will join P1,” said Mugimba.
