Fish Exporters Retract Their Comment on Domestic Consumption of Nile Perch

The Uganda Fish Processors and Exporters Association has apologized for statements made at Parliament regarding local consumption of the Nile Perch.

The group suggested that consumption of the Nile Perch should be banned and the fish be preserved for export only. They have now said the forces of demand and supply should be at play.
