Judiciary Stuck with Over UGX 26 Billion in Unclaimed Bail Refunds

The Judiciary has revealed that it’s stuck with over UGX 26 billion in unclaimed bail refunds and security deposits.

The Chief Registrar at the Judiciary, Sarah Langa, has also cautioned people paying bail fees against being duped by dubious people who ask for cash in corridors, saying all payments should be in the bank.
