Karamoja local leaders prefer that UPDF resort to guarding the Kraals

Karamoja local leaders have punched holes in the Uganda People’s Defense Forces’ strategy to deal with cattle rustlers in the region.

The angry leaders claim the force uses a frontline strategy to end cattle theft instead of guarding the Kraals.

But the UPDF Spokesperson, Brigadier Felix Kulayigye, insists they are in control of security in the Karamoja sub-region and doing all they can to contain the situation.
