Education Minister Unveils Plan for More Secondary Schools in Uganda

The Minister of Education and Sports,  Janet Kataaha Museveni announced the government’s plan to build a secondary school in each sub county across Uganda. The goal is to make education more accessible and enhance its quality. She shared this during an event commemorating the founders of Samson Kalibbala Kamya Memorial Secondary School in Rakai district. During the event, Buyamba County Member of Parliament Ssemwanga Javiira highlighted Rakai district’s limited benefits from government programs, particularly State House scholarships.
