President Museveni Urges Calm Amid Bomb Threats.

In a presidential address on Thursday, September 7, 2023, President Museveni called upon the Ugandan population not to panic in the wake of several defused bombs discovered earlier this week.
President Kaguta Museveni: “Working with the Congolese government, we are actively pursuing those responsible for these incidents because we have identified them. Therefore, I want to reassure everyone that there is no need for panic. This is not an insurmountable problem.”
President Kaguta Museveni: “In the meantime, I have a few requests for the population. Be vigilant and cautious. Do not allow strangers to enter your places of worship. Anyone unfamiliar in your area should be questioned, isolated, and reported to the police.”
President Kaguta Museveni: “I want to express my gratitude to the people of Uganda. There is no need to panic; these recent events mark the tail end of the ADF’s activities. It’s not the beginning, expansion, or growth of their influence.”
