Nile Breweries Donates 450 Million Shillings to Boost Kyabazinga Royal Wedding

The Kyabazinga royal wedding, a historic event for the Busoga Kingdom, has received a significant boost from Nile Breweries, with a generous donation of 450 million Ugandan shillings. The contribution, presented at the Busoga Kingdom Headquarters in Bugembe, highlights the strong trust that major companies have in the Kingdom.

Preparations for the highly anticipated Busoga Royal wedding have been steadily gaining momentum, thanks to the support of various companies and well-wishers. The Central Organizing Committee for the event was delighted to receive the substantial financial support from Nile Breweries.

Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Uganda Breweries, Emmanuel Njuki, emphasized that their contribution is a token of appreciation for the unwavering support that Busoga has shown them since 1951. Of the 450 million shillings, a portion will be provided in cash, while the remainder will be allocated for media advertising.

Dr. Joseph Muvawala, the Katukiiro of Busoga, expressed his gratitude for the generous donation and highlighted the trust that prominent companies have in the Busoga Kingdom. He also called upon other potential sponsors to join in supporting this historic wedding of the century.

Justine Kasule Lumumba, Chairperson of the Committee on Media and Entertainment for the Busoga Royal wedding, reminded the Basoga and their friends that the Royal dinner is scheduled for the coming Friday at Kololo Airstrip.
