Uganda Media owners, managers and advertisers in partnership with government have formed a research bureau that will be tasked to conduct credible research to help provide an accurate media ratings in the country. The industry has in the past faced problems of uncoordinated research finding on the viewer ship that is at times conducted for selfish reasons of particular media houses.
During the annual general meetings of national broadcasters association NAB, the media owners’ leadership says the research bureau will guide media ratings.
