Secondary Schools Going Digital

The Ministry of Education and Sports has partnered with NSSF on a programme to give out computers to secondary schools to promote E-learning.

The programme was launched in Jinja at Mpumudde Senior Secondary. 50 tablets were given out programmed with all subjects and syllabuses. Under this arrangement, children will be given high tech equipment contrary to the use of text books.

The Managing Director of NSSF was in attendance as he stated that technology today is being infused in classrooms with digital learning tools such as computers and hand held devices which expand expand course offerings and experiences.
