Uganda Land Commission Questioned on Allocation of More Land to Investors

The Uganda Land Commission has appeared before the Parliament Committee on Commissions Statutory Authority and State Enterprises (COSASE) chaired by MP Nakawa West Joel Ssenyonyi this afternoon and they were asked to has asked to explain why it allocated land which exceeds what they were meant to allocate to investors.

They were directed to allocate 32 acres, and they allocated 62 acres. The allocated land was part of Uganda Railways, Estates in Nsambya, and Kibuli.
