Take Interest in Parenting to End Teenage Pregnancies – Janet Museveni

Minister of Education and Sports, also the First Lady, Janet Museveni has urged the general public to put in more efforts and interest in parenting of children to curb the rising cases of child pregnancies and teenage pregnancies in the country that has been attributed to closure of schools.

There is public outcry that many of our school-going girls have become pregnant. Unfortunately, this has been attributed to the closure of schools and institutions. One really wonders that if our young children cannot be safe in their homes with their parents and guardians, where else can they be safe?” Janet Museveni said
