Uganda Airlines Investigation Continues, CEO Fails to Provide Transcript, and UCE Slip
The Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE) pinned Jenifer Bamuturaki, the CEO of Uganda Airlines on Wednesday, 17th August 2022 and concluded that she was hired without having to meet the basic academic criteria. The chief executive of Uganda Airlines, who earns UGX 87 million annually, only has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Social Administration (SWASA), shocking the MPs who learned of her lack of postgraduate education.
Despite receiving a degree in SWASA from Makerere University in 1994, Uganda Airlines CEO Jenifer Bamuturaki has for the second day of appearing before the committee claimed that she has never received her academic transcript, 28 years later. Another shocker was her failing to submit her UCE result slip saying she lost it.
