PDM Funding Woes in Yumbe

Residents and local leaders in Yumbe are concerned about the failure of some parishes to access the Parish Development Model funds. The affected six parishes in the district are yet to be captured in the database of the Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development.

Yumbe district leaders said they had notified the Ministry of Local Government, but they are yet to receive a response from the responsible officials. Yumbe district has already received UGX 11 billion under the Parish Development Model Program.
