Speaker Adjourns Parliament Over Ministers Absence

Speaker of Parliament Anita Among abruptly adjourned the session due to the absence of all government Ministers in the House.

The Speaker revealed plans to address this issue with the Executive, with many legislators supporting her move, viewing the Ministers absence as an attempt by the Executive to undermine the legislative branch.

The MPs also called for a performance assessment of Ministers ahead of a potential government reshuffle, as some are seen as incompetent to hold ministerial positions.
