PDM: Officials Arrested for Alleged Bribery in Soroti

Two Parish Chiefs, a CDO, and the Savings and SACCO Chairman in Soroti are in custody, accused of asking for bribes from Parish Development Model (PDM) beneficiaries. The Soroti District Commissioner, Komakech Salim, ordered more arrests following complaints from beneficiaries.

Salim issued a directive for immediate arrest after an outcry from beneficiaries, who were upset by the alleged solicitation of bribes by the accused officials.
