Day 2 Highlights: Uganda-South Africa Trade and Investment Summit

President Museveni urged South African businesses to invest in Uganda but cautioned against exploitative investments during the Uganda-South Africa trade and investment summit.

Two MoUs were signed, one for local electricity transformer manufacturing and the other aimed at boosting investment, involving Uganda Research Institute, hexagon electrical ltd, Uganda Investment Authority, and Investment South Africa.
