Hoima district leaders and residents have expressed dissatisfaction with their legislators for neglecting their constituencies during a two-week parliamentary recess. Despite having pressing matters to discuss with their legislators, the MPs were noticeably absent. The acting District Chairman, Chiche Benson, questions what issues the legislators will report back to Parliament. The recess, granted by the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among until 28th September, was intended for MPs to evaluate government programs like Emyooga and the Parish Development Model.
