The National Unity Platform is today expected to hold its first countrywide mobilization meeting in Mbarara City at the Global High School Playground. The party will also officially open its offices along Makhan Sigh Street in Mbarara city. The event is expected to start at 9:00 a.m.
According to NUP’s Joyce Bagala, the objective of the countrywide tour is to touch base with the party’s voters, Ugandans, and new and old political actors.
Nobody needs to tell us when to touch base with Ugandans. This is a political party, and as a party, we decide when we are doing what. We have plans, and we follow those plans.
The area RCC says if all goes well, the party will have a successful meeting.
