Constitutional Court Rules in Favor of MP Zaake

The Constitutional Court has allowed a petition filed by the Mityana Municipality MP Zaake Francis challenging the resolution of Parliament to remove him as the Commissioner of Parliament.

The court criticized the Speaker of Parliament, Anitah Among, for suspending Zaake without a quorum and tasked her to compensate Zaake with half of the expenses he had accrued while defending his position.
